The company was founded in the early 1980s under the name “Il Diamante” by Viola Diamante, a sole proprietorship, and then became UmbriaFrip srl in January 2010.
The main objective of the company is the collection and sale of second-hand garments such as clothes, shoes and bags in good condition.
Today we operate in a vast area of central Italy, between Umbria, Marche, Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, in close collaboration with the local authorities that manage the waste collection system and other local organisations.
Umbriafrip collects the original material from clothing banks, thanks to a widespread network of proprietary containers located in towns. Furthermore, the acquisition process also takes place in partnership with other companies collecting original material.
The core business of Umbriafrip is the sale of second-hand clothing to companies in domestic and foreign markets that deal with selection and distribution. Our company, by its nature, is a key element in the second-hand clothing reuse chain.
